The museum has been moving forward with our “Life of Verna”, “A Walk Down Main Street”, and “Wyoming’s Largest Free Outdoor Pool” exhibits. They will be unveiled this month. “Life of Verna” celebrates the life of Verna Keays Keyes, the designer of the Wyoming State Flag with personal artifacts recently donated by family members. “A Walk Down Main Street” honors seven local businesses that is heavily represented by artifacts in our museum collection. Lastly, Buffalo’s local municipal pool is “Wyoming’s Largest Free Outdoor Pool” and we hope to bring visitors on a journey from its beginning as a swimming hole to a WPA project in the 1930s, to its present-day configuration.
