We are SUPER excited that the roof on the Carnegie library/museum front entrance building was replaced last week!! As you may guess, the shingles from 1909 (the original roof), were in very poor condition after all these years. This maintenance should improve utilities efficiency and help preserve the life of the building for generations to come.
Special thanks to the Johnson County Facilities department for spearheading this project and to Johnson County residents – your tax dollars fund efforts like these.
