There’s a new sheriff in town ….

This temporary exhibit features the backstory of how the immensely successful Longmire television show was created from the award-winning book series by local author, Craig Johnson.

Learn more about Craig, the people and places that inspired roles in his books, and how real life in Johnson County compares to Sheriff Walt Longmire’s life in Absaroka County.
